I am a tribal and trans artist from North Bengal, currently based in London. I am an MA Fashion student at the Royal College of Art. My practice spans performance, latex garment-making and sculpture using bamboo, wood and basketry. I explore the body as a site of memory and resistance, drawing from both ancestral craft and experimental materials.
Through my work I question fixed ideas of gender, culture and identity. I'm interested in creating space for complexity, contradiction and new ways of seeing the South Asian experience.
